Sam must have known that I would need a great picture to go along with a catchy title for my blog about his soccer game this weekend. He took this picture of his feet after scoring TWO goals!
Soccer games have been a little hit-or-miss this season. We know that he's got it in him to do really well but if he's too tired or if it's too hot, he just can't seem to focus. He had a pretty good practice this past Friday. We were hopeful for a good game on Saturday and he really delivered. He did so well staying with the ball and fighting to get it. We were so proud. His two goals were just icing on the cake. The first one, he dribbled it all the way down the field and got it in easily. The second one, he had to fight for a little more. These next two pictures are of him on his way to the second goal. In the second picture you can see him right in front of the goal, just about to get it in (he is #7). He was so excited and of course we had to treat him to some Krispy Kreme donuts for his great accomplishments. Way to go Sam!!

I love the picture with Coach Lisa yelling in the background. I can just hear her, "GO SAM!!"
Definitely worth a trip to Krispy Kreme. Hopefully there will be a repeat this weekend!
Yay for Sam!!! What a kid!! 2 goals is awesome.....maybe next time it will be a hat trick!!! Hope all else is well....going to call you when I find the phone.....
