A week fit for a Princess!

It seems like just yesterday that we moved here to San Antonio with our 3 year old Sam and our 1 year old, very much still a baby, Audrey. This week, she turned 4! It's such a cliche but I really don't know where the time has gone and how my little girl has grown up so fast. During the last year or her life, Audrey has become a wonderful big sister, started preschool and dance class, and FINALLY conquered the potty! Audrey is really such a joy to have around. She is a wonderful sister to Sam and Ben. She likes anything girlie: playing with her kitchen, baby dolls, princess dress-up and dancing, just to name a few.

We had a great week celebrating with Audrey. On her Birthday she got to take cupcakes to preschool to share with all of her friends. That night we had some cake and ice cream with our friends, the Robert's and she got to open her presents, a princess book from Ben, swim shoes from Sam (she was really excited about these, see her thanking her brother in the picture below), and a FurReal Kitty from Mommy and Daddy.

On Friday we had the big event, Audrey's princess party. Audrey has talked about this for months so I had a lot to live up to. Audrey and her closest friends dressed as princesses, made a tiara craft, played pin the kiss on the frog, ate some snacks and "Pinkalicious" cupcakes (from Audrey's favorite book) and opened lots of girlie gifts. Audrey had a fantastic time so I'd call it a success! Happy Birthday Audrey, we love you!
