Well, It happened again. Despite my ordering her not to, Audrey turned a year older. Since she insisted on turning 6 we decided to go along with it and celebrate with her.
Audrey really is a sweet and sassy six year old. She loves her brothers, even if they're not always as loving in return. She is quick to say "thank you" and "I love you" and writes me notes telling me how "buootfle" (beautiful) I am. What's not to love about that. She definitely has her sassy side too. Her facial expressions crack us up and her dance moves often leave us asking, "where did she learn that?"
In her 6th year, Audrey thrived in Kindergarten, made many new friends, continued with her love of soccer, dance and swimming, discovered that she is a hula-hooping pro and just generally made us so happy that she is a part of our family!!!

I just had to include the pictures of Audrey blowing out the candles on her birthday cake and the aftermath. Needless to say, Ben did not appreciate that Audrey didn't need his help to blow out her candle.
Audrey also had a pretend sleepover party with her friends and had so much fun. They all came in their jammies, ate pizza and cupcakes, had a dance party and got cozy with their sleeping bags and pillows to watch the movie Tangled. It was a wonderful night for a wonderful girl. Happy Birthday Audrey!!
