Easter Weekend Road Trip

We had a wonderful Easter weekend and although it feels like it was so long ago now I still have to write about it now so I can share some of our fun pictures.

We made the drive up to Dallas to spend some time with the Mano family. It is always so nice when the kids get to spend time with their cousins because it doesn't happen anywhere near often enough! I have to say, Kim wasn't feeling well but you would hardly have known it. She had lots of fun activities planned for the kids and even a little pre-birthday party for Audrey. Thanks Kim!!!

We let the kids (minus Ben) camp out in the media room together and they had a ball. A little bit too much fun at first but they did make it to sleep eventually:) The next morning we headed off to an Easter egg hunt with a petting zoo at a local church. Ben loved chasing the ducks and chickens and of course, Audrey was in LOVE with the bunnies!

After the egg hunt we headed back to the Mano's house and the kids had some more fun decorating cookies, playing outside, having Audrey's "party". They finished off the night by decorating some eggs then they were off to bed. Thanks to a full day, they fell asleep quickly so the Easter Bunny could get to work!

They were up bright and early the next morning and made quick work of their Easter egg hunt. They got some fun baskets from the Easter Bunny and Ben wasted no time digging into his candy.

After a yummy breakfast we headed off to church. We tried for a few pictures of the kids in their Easter finest after church. Of course the only one of Sam, Audrey and Ben without a scowl from at least one of them was the silly one so that's what we'll go with.

Thanks to the Mano Family for hosting our crazy bunch and celebrating Easter with us. Holidays are ALWAYS better with family!
