Rise and Shout... but Suzie is out.

Cougar pride was at an all-time high among our family this past weekend. We made the trek up to Dallas to support BYU as they played against the Oklahoma Sooners and of course, to visit with the Mano family. We were all so excited to see them play close by and to see the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Our plan was to leave Audrey and Ben at the Mano's house with Marissa, Alli and a couple of babysitters from their ward, so that the adults, and Sam, could go and enjoy the game. That was our plan... apparently that was not Ben's plan. Poor Ben got sick, really sick, on the night before the game. The next morning I took him to Urgent Care and came home with a diagnosis of Bronchitis with a touch of Pneumonia and a bunch of new medicines. It was obvious, I could not go to the game, and what a game to miss. Our seats were excellent, as close as you could be to the 50 yard line and most important of all, it was a great game, BYU won!!!

Aside from the fun at the game, we had a great time with Kim, Jon, Marissa and Alli! The kids love being with their cousins and they are always so cute together. I sincerely hope that they don't all come down with what Ben had in the days to come. Thanks so much for having us, germs and all. Go Cougars!

Clever title! I am so sorry you had to miss the game! I thought of you while we were watching it--thinking you were in the stands! Hope little Ben is on the mend!
